If the GCap is configured with a compatibility mode that is less than or equal to version 2.5.3.8 of the GCenter then features appear in this menu. For GCenter versions higher than 2.5.3.8, the probe data retention feature is present on the web interface.

'Set file retention period' menu allows to specified in seconds the retention periods of the extracted files.

Note

3600s=1min; 86400s=24hours; 1296000=15days

The retention period for sent files can range from 10 seconds to 30 days. Unsent files and events can be retained for a period ranging from 2 minutes to 30 days.

You can do it with the following CLI command :

services show retention-periods [unsent-files|sent-files|eve-files]

services set retention-periods [unsent-files|sent-files|eve-files]
