1. Gview profile

To access the control panel with the GVIEW account, just log in with the following default password: default

You must change user password at first connexion.

With GVIEW account you can :

  • have quick information on the status of the sensor GCap

  • check version

  • to change the password

  • change the connection mode (graphical or command line)

  • change the keyboard layout

  • view logging information and statistics

  • consult rules and threshold files, including local ones

  • read all logs: ** stats.log ** suricata_stdout.log ** suricata_stderr.log ** what is present in /var/log/*.log

  • view alert logs

The menus present in the GVIEW account are also present with the other GVIEWADM and SETUP accounts.
