6.16. Commande `Elasticsearch storage mode`

6.16.1. Introduction

La commande `Elasticsearch storage mode` permet de modifier le mode de stockage pour les alertes et les métadonnées.

Le choix d’un stockage lent pour elasticsearch augmentera la durée de rétention potentielle, mais aura un impact négatif sur les performances et la vitesse du GCenter.
Il est fortement recommandé de conserver elasticsearch sur un mode de stockage rapide (`Current storage type` choix `fast`).

Note

Commuter le type de stockage préservera vos données.
Déplacer une grande quantité de données peut considérablement réduire les performances du GCenter pendant l’opération et prendre jusqu’à une heure.
L’indexation sera suspendue pendant son déroulement.
Le processus de migration allouera la taille de rétention des données par défaut sur le stockage cible (voir les valeurs ci-dessous).
Cette allocation peut ensuite être étendue à la taille maximale du stockage cible : voir la configuration dans l'écran webui suivant Administration>Data>Retention policy>Elasticsearch max data retention

Le menu de configuration est affiché :

  • Sélectionner la ligne `Elasticsearch storage mode`` ou appuyer sur la lettre E.

  • Appuyer sur le bouton `OK`.
    La fenêtre `Elasticsearch storage mode` s'affiche.
Choosing slow storage for elasticsearch will increase the potential retention duration,
but it will negatively impact the performances and speed of the gcenter.
It is strongly recommended to keep elasticsearch on fast storage.
Current storage type: fast
Maximum size on fast storage for elasticsearch: 15G
Maximum size on slow storage for elasticsearch: 99G
Current space used by elasticsearch: 1.0G`
  • Pour changer le mode de stockage courant, appuyer sur le bouton `Switch storage type`.
    L'écran devient:
Storage type switch will preserve your data.
Moving high amount of data can greatly reduce the performances of your gcenter during the operation, and take up to one hour.
Indexation will be paused while it is occurring.
The migration process will allocate the default data retention size on the target storage (see numbers above).
This allocation can later be extended to the maximum size for the target storage:
see webui configuration in Admin>Configuration>Global settings>Elasticsearch max data retention.

Current space used by elasticsearch: 1,0G
  • Pour lancer l'operation, appuyer sur le bouton `Switch storage type and launch data migration`.
    Le message suivant est affiché indiquant la progression de l'opération.
Elasticsearch storage mode configuration is running, this can take a while.
Storage mode reconfiguration preparation: Running
Amount of data on target storage / origin storage: Not running
Reconfigure storage mode: Not running

Note

En cas d'erreur, le message suivant est affiché. Dans ce cas contacter le service support.

An error has been encountered during the procedure. As a result, the
gcenter could become unstable. Please, contact the gatewatcher support
quickly.

Dans cas, valider le message d'erreur.

A la fin de l'operation, le type de stockage a changé (dans cet exemple, il est passé à `slow`).
