6.20. Switching to a double interface configuration
6.20.1. Introduction
Important
The user will lose the session if the connection between the GCenter and the user's PC is made remotely via SSH.In order to avoid this disconnection, connect to the GCenter (see the Preliminary operations).

Stop the detection engine (see the GCap documentation)
6.20.4. Procedure for displaying the current configuration
The configuration menu is displayed.
Select the Network line or press the letter N.
- Click on the OK button.The Hostname configuration window is displayed:
Hostname configuration Interface configuration: mgmt0 Enabled Interface configuration: vpn0 Disabled Interface configuration: icap0 Disabled Interface configuration: sup0 Disabled DNS configuration NTP configuration ───────────────────────────────────────── <Configure> <Back>
For each of the 4 interfaces, the system displays its status.
The single interface configuration is indicated by :
the status of mgmt0: Enabled
the status of vpn0: Disabled
- Single interface configurationSSH and VPN connections are handled by the mgmt0 interface.In this case, the system displays:
Hostname configuration Interface configuration: mgmt0 Enabled Interface configuration: vpn0 Disabled
In this example, the current configuration is single-interface, vpn0 is Disabled In this case, continue with this procedure.
- Double interface configurationThe SSH connection for GCenter management is handled by the
`mgmt0`
interface.The VPN communication is controlled by the`vpn0`
interface.In this case, the system displays:
Hostname configuration Interface configuration: mgmt0 Enabled Interface configuration: vpn0 Enabled In this case, there is nothing to do.
6.20.5. Procedure for switching from single to double interface configuration
First of all, unpair the GCap: to do so, refer to the GCap documentation
Use the network command to modify the status of the VPN0 (from disable to enable) : to do so , refer to the `Network` command
Rewire the network cables if necessary.
On the GCap; use
the Pairing between a GCap and a GCenter
procedure.
