6.2.4.6.1. Introduction

The upgrade command of the system subgroup enables upgrading the sensor to a new version.

User: setup
Dependencies:
The detection engine must be switched off

system upgrade

6.2.4.6.4. Example of upgrading a GCap

Enter the following command to list available packages on GCenter.
```
(gcap-cli) system upgrade list
```
Validate.

Enter the following command to upgrade the sensor.

(gcap-cli) system upgrade apply [package_name] confirm

Validate.

At the end of the operation sensor will restart

The SSH connection will be interrupted.
